I am a birth doula based in Greenhithe, Kent, where I live with my husband, 6 year old son, and 4 year old daughter.

My interest in pregnancy and birth came long before my first was born. Once I became pregnant with my first I researched, researched and researched some more. I was completely fascinated with what was going on in my body and the miracle of how our bodies grow these small humans. Once my son was born, the pull into birth work started. This is when I found out what a doula was and how amazing their work is helping to support other women and families through their birth experiences. I then became pregnant with my daughter so decided to put my dream on hold for a short while.

When the right time came to dive back in, I completed my doula preparation course with Developing Doulas, and haven’t looked back since.

I like being out in nature with my family, summer is the best season for me, I like tea, chocolate and a glass of wine (not all at the same time!). I love travelling, animals and my favourite meal that my husband cooks me is ramen. And of course, who doesn’t love a baby cuddle?

Fun fact: Over the past year I have been learning BSL (British Sign Language). I’m no pro, but I can sign a few sentences.
